We are very pleased to announce that Erasmus International Masters in Adult Education for Social Change (IMAESC) student, McRhon Banderlipe, has just published his first co-authored book chapter, entitled Resilience and Growth: A University’s Response for Future-Proofing Graduates and Careers. Many congratulations to McRhon.
On 19 May 2021, with the adoption of the Berlin Declaration for Sustainable Development (ESD), participants at the UNESCO World Conference on ESD committed to promoting its integration at all levels of education. The UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) will support UNESCO Member States in their efforts to turn this commitment into reality.
Almost no corner of the globe has escaped the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, but these impacts have not been felt equally. Research has shown that our ability to respond to COVID-19 is influenced by social and economic status, suggesting that where and how we live matters. Nowhere is this more acute than cities and towns in developing countries.
