This edition of the PIMA Bulletin is guest-edited by researchers at RMIT University, Australia, and presents a snapshot of work being undertaken by members and associates of the European Union-funded Jean Monnet Network, which is based in the European Union Centre of Excellence at RMIT University.

The Co-operative College, The WEA, Kellogg College, University of Oxford, Nottingham University, the Department for Continuing Education at Oxford University, and the Raymond Williams Foundation will be hosting four interactive, free online events starting this Thursday and following each Thursday after that.

I'm pleased to let you know about a number of publications and press features relating to the Sustainable Futures in Africa (SFA) network, an interdisciplinary collective that brings together researchers, educators, and communities of practice that acknowledge the situated and complex nature of practices and conceptions of sustainability. The Network aims to build understanding, research, and practice in socio-ecological sustainability in Africa.

In an article published on Thursday April 5, 2018 in The Scotsman newspaper, CR&DALL core member, Dr Mia Perry, calls for "decisive changes to the way we collaborate...substantial resources will continue to be spent at a rapid rate; but the trajectory of change and development in the world will remain consistent with that of the past 50 years".
