Summary biography:
Sajjad is Reader in the James Watt School of Engineering. He is currently serving as Program Director, Electronic and Electrical Engineering with the Information Engineering program at Glasgow College UESTC. He is Academic Champion for £5M University of Glasgow EON-XR Centre, concerned with virtual reality. He has previously served at the Electrical Engineering Department, Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), Islamabad, Pakistan as Associate Professor. He undertook his Masters in Wireless Communications in 2006 from Supelec, Gif-sur-Yvette and received a PhD in Signal Processing and Communications in 2009 from the University of Rennes 1, Rennes, France. He holds senior membership of the IEEE and fellowship of Higher Education Academy. He is an Associate Editor IEEE Access. He has won the College of Science and Engineering, University of Glasgow 2019 Teaching Excellence Award and serves as College of Science and Engineering Retention & Transition Officer.
